The day’s dawn
At 7:00 this morning, the sun was just making it’s way over the horizon. It was a fiery orange ball that left a pinkish glow on the bathroom wall. Winter is coming and the sun looks a little bit smaller, a little bit further away, a little bit colder. It’s Canada and we pride ourselves on our well-rounded seasons. Would summer mean any less if we didn’t have winter? Does distance really make the heart grow fonder? Are we destined to lose sight of that which we see everyday?
